At Bellingen Healing Centre, we have learnt through experience that healthcare delivery is different for each user of our services. We understand that the health needs of each individual can vary significantly; depending on their age, sex, long-term health conditions, ethnicity and cultural heritage.
The Bellingen Healing Centre provides a full range of services for babies and children including all checks required in the Blue Book as well as immunisations.
Pregnancy can be one of the most wonderful and exciting times of life, but it can also carry some confusion and moments of stress along the way. It is so important that you feel supported and that your health is in good hands during this time.
Before travelling, it is recommended to attend a medical consultation to discuss vaccinations, potential health risks at your destination, and ensure you have supply of your regular and emergency medicines.
General Practice plays a central role in the provision of mental health care in Australia. Did you know that people talk to their GP about mental health more than any other issue? The doctors at Bellingen Healing Centre Practice are trained and experienced in managing a wide range of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, grief, carer stress and childhood behavioural difficulties.
Health assessments are a Medicare initiative to improve preventative health and chronic care, in which the GP, in conjunction with a practice nurse, performs a comprehensive health check.
The Bellingen Healing Centre has a focus on the prevention and early detection and treatment of skin cancer as well as precancerous lesions.
We understand that illness and injuries can’t be scheduled, and there will be times that you need to be seen by a doctor quickly. To cater for this, we keep a number of “on the day” appointment slots reserved each day.
